How We See IT

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Your computer systems require regular maintenance to prevent problems from developing. Keeping your systems running smoothly and up to date is a basic requirement for your business, and we think it’s something you shouldn’t have to worry about – RBG’s tech-support team can handle it quickly and professionally.

REMOTE SERVICE IS SPEEDY SERVICE

IT emergencies never come up at a good time. When you can’t work because of a technology meltdown, you don’t care why it isn’t working, you just want it fixed NOW. Very often, we are able to resolve tech-support issues remotely. Not that we don’t like seeing you. We do. We promise. We’ll come by for a visit soon. But we try to get you back up-and-running without waiting for us to come to your location – saving you time and money. You’re welcome.

Conversation 101

What’s wrong with the following conversation?
“Hello.”
“Hi.”
“Can you fix this please?”
“Yup.”
…hours later…
“Did he fix that?”
“I don’t know, he left this giant bill though.”

RELATION-SHIPS

Let us level with you. The last person in the world you’re going to trust for good advice is some guy you met on the internet trying to sell you something. That’s why we believe in building real-life face-to-face honest-to-God relationships with the people we work for. That’s right, get ready to set sail on the relation-ship. Destination? Productivity Island. You heard us. And don’t just take our word for it – we’re on this boat together.

ARE YOU LEAVING IT TO CHANCE?

Did you know: 27% of small businesses have no IT support?
How many times have I heard, “If it breaks, I’ll just buy a new one.” – that’s a pretty risky sentiment when you consider how much your business really depends on your technology. Ask a lumberjack – you wouldn’t buy an expensive new ax whenever the old one goes dull. Like any good tool, proper care will make it last. For any business with computers, major concerns should include: backups and data security, server and workstation maintenance, web presence, and E-mail.

I’ll Update IT Later

Technology end-of-life (EOL) causes a lot of problems for many companies. Microsoft Windows 7 is still the most adopted Operating System, followed by Windows XP—a dead OS walking (and not a great one to have around) especially when it comes to security. Without a dedicated IT staff to let you know, you may not even be aware of the amount of time (read: money) is being wasted by putting up with outdated software – or worse, what kinds of security holes are leaving your systems vulnerable. We can tell you if it’s time to upgrade your software or hardware, find the best fit for you, and get you and your team up-and-running painlessly.

Getting Familiar

INITIAL EVALUATION

  • 01

We come out to your location to case the joint. Get the lay of the land. Take in all the sights. Scribble some notes in our handy dandy notebook.

  • 02

We crunch the numbers. Really grind them down to a tasty pulp. Dash of secret sauce. Pinch of salt.

  • 03

We write a prescription. Like Doc McStuffins, but for your computers. And we type our notes up for you, so you don’t have to read our handwriting.

  • 04

We present you with your very own custom tailored estimate, where we outline all our brilliant suggestions, and the compelling reasons behind them. Astounded, you reach for a pen to sign with.

The Set Up

  • 01

Arrangements are made. A date is set. Invitations are sent. It’s all very exciting.

  • 02

Having plotted our course and having laid forth our elaborate plans, we descend on your office like nerdy vikings.

  • 03

We set up camp, installing our tools and running lots of scans and things. When the dust settles, we know your systems like the backs of our hands.

  • 04

At some point, someone had to set up Commissioner Gordon with the Bat Signal. That’s more or less what’s going on here.

  • 05

Our setup complete, we present any novel findings, drink some coffee, and say our goodbyes. A good day’s work. We saddle up, and gallantly ride off into the sunset.

Comfortable Support

  • 01

You go about your business. Do your thing. But now when something breaks, you don’t have to waste your time worrying about it. We are your adorable plush worry eaters.

  • 02

We perform our contractual duties, and we stop in from time to time, just to say “howdy.”

  • 03

Maybe you have burning questions. Maybe something unexpected happens. Maybe both. You know who to call. (It’s us. You call us.)

  • 04

We journey on down the road, hand in hand, and beautiful flowers bloom in our footsteps.
